Information You Provide
Search-box entries such as a name, phone number, or address go to the third-party service that supplies results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the information included in your message and use it to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Hosting systems may record ordinary server-log details, including IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use aggregate information to maintain the service and understand general page use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics or advertising measurement.
How Information Is Used
We use limited operational information to run, secure, troubleshoot, and improve this reference. We do not sell visitor lists or build individual visitor profiles from the information described here.
External Services
Links lead to government portals, library collections, archives, and sponsored search providers. Their privacy terms apply to information submitted on their services. Review the relevant provider’s policy before entering personal information.
Service Providers and Disclosure
Hosting, analytics, and advertising providers may process the automatic data described above. We disclose information when valid legal process requires it or when disclosure is otherwise legally required.
Security Practices
The service uses an encrypted connection and retains logs only for the operational purposes described here. Because it has no user accounts, it does not store user passwords or account profiles.
Children’s Information
This reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Contact us if you believe a minor has provided information so it can be addressed.
Choices and Requests
You may ask about personal information held in a contact message or operational log by using the Contact page. New York’s Personal Privacy Protection Law, Public Officers Law Article 6-A, §§91–99, governs many state-agency data practices, while government record corrections remain with the relevant custodian. Research did not identify an enacted comprehensive New York consumer deletion or universal opt-out law as of August 29, 2026. A request to this service does not remove an underlying assessor, Clerk, court, or other government record.
Policy Revisions
We may revise this policy by posting an updated version here. Continued use after publication means the revised policy applies going forward.
